The First Adelaide Hills Business Meetup Event - 30 April 2015

The first Adelaide Hills Business Creators Meetup event went well beyond our expectations. A total of 26 business owners attended the gathering along with an Adelaide Hills Council representative Marc Salver, Director Planning & Development Services.

Lex van Blyenburgh, local business owner, stated "Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to mix, mingle and munch while finding out a little more about our fellow small business-owners - if nothing else, it proved to me that we are, after all, the hardest-working elements in the engine-room of the economy!"

I think we would all agree with Lex, as everyone gave the thumbs up to do a monthly Meetup.

The objective of our first gathering was to connect local business owners.   Something sadly missing these days as we all lead a very busy life.   However it is important to take time out every once in a while to do a reality check and a look around at what is happening.

Our next Meetup will be the 4th of June at 6:00pm and the theme is "The Tell All Meetup".  You have a moment to introduce and share your story to all that attend.  It's a great way to discover who's who.   Book in today at http://meetup.adelaidehillsbc.com.au

Special thanks to Ingrid, Lisa and Lesley for helping out on the night.  Much appreciated.

Many thanks to PH8 for the supply of great tasting bottled water and Barristers Block for helping out on the premium local wines.
