Scam Warning - Encana Consulting - Job Seekers

An overseas organisation, Encana Consulting,  are catching local job seekers.  The scammers portray a connection with the Australian Government and the National Employment Standards (NES).

Good earnings are used to lure people to sign up.  At some stage the person is requested to provide their credit card for travel arrangement or the like.  Never disclose personal information, bank accounts or credit card details.

This came to our attention as they are using the Adelaide Hills Business Centre address as its Australian corporate address.

Please disregard any job offer by email particularly if you have not applied for the job.

Scammer, Encana Consulting, web site address is http://encanaconsulting.com and the unauthorised use of our address appears on this page http://encanaconsulting.com/contact-us.html

If you have been scammed, please report it to the ACCC as soon as possible. https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/index.phtml/tag/reportascam/

We also have a good stock of the ACCC's "The Little Black Book Of Scams".  Call in and collect one and it includes a second on job scammers.
